Another advantage lies in the legislative environment in the form of liberal laws allowing the donation of both sperm and eggs (strictly anonymous), embryo examination (PGS and PGD), ICSI procedure, assisted hatchingand oocyte cryopreservation (egg freezing). But beware, these techniques are available only to registered or unregistered heterosexual couples. Same sex couples and single women would not be able to access assisted reproduction legally. Also the maximum age of female patient is strictly limited by the number of 48 + 364 days.
As already mentioned, the Czech Republic is considered one of the most affordable fertility destinations in Europe. The cost of a single own egg IVF cycle can start as low as 2500 EUR while an egg donation cycle may cost around 5000 EUR. It is also important to mention that in the case of acceptance of donor eggs, the patient does not pay the donor's expenses.
